Prof. Gerhard A. Vorwold (PhD)

is a German jurist and tax lawyer, educated at the Universities of Münster and Freiburg, Germany.
During his working life he held a managerial position in a medium sized company, was a senior official in the higher service of the fiscal administration of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW), taught tax law at the Hochschule für Finanzen NRW and the University of Münster. Besides he was a researcher / visiting scholar at the New York University (NYU), School of Law and the Boston College (BC) Law School.
Actually he is working as a freelancer (subject: German and international tax law), as executive for the non-government organization (NGO) close the gap worldwide (https://closethegapworldwide.wordpress.com), Berlin and as chair of the charitable foundation Bridging Gaps – Prof. Vorwold Stiftung (https://prof-vorwold-stiftung.org), Berlin, Germany.
